
FRY’S MERCADO
This prototype project is designed to address the rapidly growing Hispanic community in the greater Phoenix area. This store is intended to cater predominantly to a recently emigrated consumer. The overall character of exterior is inspired by traditional Spanish Colonial architecture and speaks to the customer aspirations and dreams. Each department is treated like an individual merchant operating within a town marketplace. Detailing throughout is meant to evoke the rich Mexican traditions of artistry and craft.
Size: 60,000 square foot grocery and general merchandise store.
Opening: July, 2006.
