THE CLIMATE PROJECT
“I saw An Inconvenient Truth by coincidence and without great expectations. But I must have been ready to understand its message, because it blew me away. I walked out knowing we had to do more than our established sustainable design efforts, knowing we had to get involved in a deeper and more meaningful way.” — Kevin O’Donnell
From more than 8,500 applicants, Kevin, Schorleaf’s Creative Director, was chosen as one of 1,000 to train with former Vice President Al Gore to give the slide show presentation that is the basis for both the book and Academy Award-winning movie, An Inconvenient Truth. In December of 2006 Kevin flew to Nashville, spent a weekend with Mr. Gore and other trainees, and has been presenting the show from a sustainable design perspective, focusing on the connection between climate change and the built environment.
